There are now clear rays of hope for exhibitions in Germany. The majority of the federal states have now formulated prospects for a new start for trade faitrs. Several trade fair organisers have confirmed planned trade fair dates for July.
After the most severe slump in the trade fair business in Germany in 2020 for over 70 years, around 110 trade fairs have already been cancelled or postponed for 2021 due to Corona; 380 exhibitions were planned. German trade fairs need a clear perspective for the trade fair restart in 2021.
AUMA Managing Director Jörn Holtmeier has now been elected Vice-Chair of the Associations Committee of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI. In his new function, he is a member of the Board of Directors of UFI.
