The German trade fair industry takes off. About 200 trade fairs will take place throughout the remainder of this year. AUMA Chairman Philip Harting: “We are back. We are happy to welcome our guests at trade fairs in Germany again".

The German trade fair industry has set itself ambitious climate protection targets: Sustainability will be part of all tenders as early as 2023, 100 percent green electricity by 2025 and climate-neutral by 2040. AUMA members set themselves nine targets.

At least 340 trade fairs are planned between Husum and Friedrichshafen in 2023. Thus, almost 25 percent more trade fairs will take place in the new year than were possible in Germany this year. According to initial projections, 65 to 70 percent of the fair's participants are back.
